Stay Strong

If you notice, or are truly seeking to notice the reality of things; life can be tough. There was a little boy sitting back and looking at the situation at hand. The little boy asked his father why people seemed to be all running in different directions and no one seemed to be on the same page? The father explained the best way he could that people were all seeking life in their own meaning and way. Soon after, The Lord appeared. When one seeks their own will outside of God's will-they are being led to destruction. There doesn't exist a will outside of His will; it's all an illusion. Peace.

"The Unexamined Life Is Not Worth Living"-Socrates

I viewed a presentation on philosophy and was taken by the quote from Socrates. I believe in the truth in the statement he made. As God has created you to become, and be people who come to realization and self-actualization; one must realize the necessity to "seek ye first the kingdom of heaven". If one seeks for an answer all their life and doesn't realize the answer was there present, within them the whole time; that person has wasted and not fully sought out what life could be. Many would feel, as Socrates has, that you have wasted every ounce of potential that could have been. The next genius may be the store clerk that has yet to waken to self and God's purpose or the derelict on the street corner who chose drugs over the education his parents sought to give him and lead him towards. This is a great issue to understand, for, it separates the the hearers and the doers. The hearers will know these things and not do and the doers will hear instruction and strive after the water of wisdom after they have tasted the first joy of having it. You can have one that cares about seeking the fulness of their potential and you can have one who is "OK" with have the norm. So, to wrap it up. Philosophy, to me, is Inviting in The Spirit of God That God may show you your every potential. That sounds exciting! I believe there are going to be some people who actually take hold of what is present in this stratosphere for them and prosper. Until then- Shalom.   Glory Be To The Lord God.
